I have been raising these for over 10 years. First 7 in Zanesville OH. Where I purchased plants. It took Me two years to find them as seeds at Holmes. They are wonderful to eat as slices on lunchmeat and peanutbutter sandwiches, as peppers stuffed with cream cheese, or peanutbutter, as sliced additions to coleslaw or as plain slices with a little salt.
MY FATHER GREW THESE WHEN I WAS A KID AND IVE BEEN GROWING THEM EVER SINCE I HAD A GARDEN. VERY GOOD PEPPER BEST FOR STUFFING. WOULD RECOMEND
We had these when I was akid. We moved from OH to SC and I searched for years locally for plants or seeds but didn't find them until Holmes seeds was recommended by White Huse Farms in Salem, OH. Seeds are top quality and everyone spouted and now I give peppers to all my neighbors.
