Characteristics:
Distinctive Italian zucchini, prominently ribbed. Medium green with flecks and ribs. Big, large-leafed bush. Great texture, nutty, and delicious flavor.
For a zucchini that doesn't have enhanced disease resistance this one stands up well to disease pressure. Of all the traditional zucchini I grow this one is always the last one to poop out due to diseases. It's also pretty with the deep ridges and has a nice flavor that's not overly watery. Because of the dark color it's easy to miss them under the leaves when harvesting but if you do you will trip over them the next harvest day. When forgotten on the plant these produce the largest zucchini of all my varieties.
