I planted a 4 foot by 4 foot area in a home garden. These were planted late in the season. Since a freeze was forcast, I remove the plants and harvested all mature beans. From that small area I harvested over 4 and a half pounds of beans that day. The flavor is very good. They seem to hold well on the plant. Only a few of the very old pods were tough..
