I got a very late start for everything this year as I live in FL. I should have had the tomatoes ready to go into their grow bags back in February, but I didn't. Once the temps get really hot, I don't expect anything to produce. With all that being said, right now I have golf ball sized tomatoes on the Bush Early Girls and I am a little optimistic that I'll get at least a few ripened tomatoes before they all give up. I grew regular Early Girl in the Midwest for years and it is probably my favorite tomato. I'm hoping this Bush variety matches the original in taste. I plan to have more plants ready for the fall planting ... that means having them in their grow bags around the middle of September. I expect that crop will do even better due to the cooling temps then.
Best Fall Tomatoe to grow in Zone 9B. Yes we can grow Tomatoes into the winter down here.
